In the spring of 2024 I worked as an assistant designer and backup carpenter in a local film studio. I knew that I wanted to build a business of my own that was meaningful. I wanted to lead others to success, not just follow it.

A few years prior I had started a leatherwork business, but decided I liked that more as a hobby and didn't want to lose the art of it. Because of this, I had some experience with owning my own business and met several good mentors along the way.

Long story short, I left the job at the film studio, got my first lawn client in April, and by the end of the following summer my team and I had a full schedule of repeat mowing clients.

My name is Jed Coursen, and I'm proud to be the owner and leader of Coursen Lawn and Landscape where we continue to grow and provide quality services because we build on standards and maintain with excellence.
