Built from the ground up!
In the spring of 2024, I worked as an assistant designer and backup carpenter at a local film studio. I knew I wanted to build a business of my own, something meaningful, where I could lead others to success instead of just following it. A few years earlier, I'd started a leatherwork business. I loved it, but decided I wanted to keep it as a hobby rather than turn it into a job. I didn't want to lose the art of it. That experience still gave me a real foundation: I learned what it takes to own a business, and I met some great mentors along the way. I'd always loved working outdoors, so when the opportunity came, I left the film studio job and got my first lawn client that April. By the end of the following summer, my team and I had a full schedule of repeat mowing clients. My name is Jed Coursen, and I'm proud to be the owner and leader of Coursen Lawn and Landscape. We continue to grow because we hold ourselves to real standards and treat every yard like it matters, because to us, it does.
